I remember the day I first installed you,
I remember carrying you around on a flash drive, spreading you like a virus,
I remember going to insane lengths to find out the admin password at school, just so I could install you!
and I DON'T remember how I survived before you, before tabbed browsing! :O
Happy Birthday Mr. Fox! :D

I know!!
ReplyDeleteLove u firefox!
:D
You know when Blogger was bought by Google, I got locked out with my old browser. And guess who saved me? Mr Fox!
ReplyDeleteYou know I've been a firefox fan for a long long time when it was still a light weight browser unlike today. I'm now almost about to convert to Chrome, but haven't done so because of two add-ons that I dearly need. The day I get them in Chrome, it'll be goodbye Firefox!
ReplyDelete:D
Aamina - :D
ReplyDeleteSerendib - Wow! Was this on a mac? You must've been using quite an old browser! :D
Sach - Yeah, it has gotten too bloated... and it shows when the fox is starting up! Chrome is really fast but too unstable for my liking, it might be because of my abysmally small amount of RAM though... but as Chrome starts adding support for add-ons, I wonder if it too would become like Firefox, having slow start ups and crashing add-ons! :/ btw, I think the browsing experience on Firefox (after it starts up) is still pretty smooth and fast... :)
and I've taken it for granted...poor foxy
ReplyDeleteHahah! Nice one.
ReplyDeleteBuh I prefer using Opera thats what I have. :P
Anyhoo, belated wishes Firefoxxxxy.
firefox... user friendly and nice..:)
ReplyDeleteSue - yeah, it's good to have a day to remember everything it's done for us! :D just last night it saved me a load of retyping by undoing a mistaken delete that I did! hehe :D
ReplyDeleteGG - yeah, you told me something about your bro liking opera? :/ lol :D
Lady D - and a lifesaver too for sure! hehe ;)
As per Google analytics 31% who come to my blog uses firefox..
ReplyDeleteK - ah! wise people, those who read your blog are! hehe ;)
ReplyDeletehaha..nice post...i agree wholeheartedly. Don't remember what browsing was like before the tabs came along!
ReplyDeleteI just switched to Google Chrome though, and well..for some reason all the google stuff seem to work a lot faster on it ;)
B.I* - haha yeah! multiple windows and a whole lot of clutter I think! ;) But it's interesting, like my mom still hasn't mastered working on multiple tabs, so even though she uses firefox she still does all her work in a single tab! :D
ReplyDeleteI think Chrome has a faster javascript engine, which makes web applications run faster on it... It's a good browser, and like I said above, I hope it doesn't get bloated in the future... :)
amen! i can't imagine life before tabbed browsing either.
